Here we have tried to provide answers to the most commonly asked questions about our wedding photography services. Please do not hesitate to give us a call or contact us if you have queries which are not dealt with.
How much is your booking fee?
There is a non-refundable booking fee of £265.00. The advance booking fee ensures that your “big day” is logged into our diary and allows us to start to make preparations for it. The booking fee is part of the final Wedding Package cost. Any balance is due one calendar month before your wedding day.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. Our Public liability insurance provides appropriate cover for the weddings and events we are commissioned to photograph. Please let me know if your venue needs our insurance details.
When do we get our pictures?
Once your photographs have been edited we will create a private (password protected) online picture gallery on our website. The gallery will contain a selection of your photos. Normally this is a week following your wedding. We will send you password to allow you to access your private photo file. It takes up to a further four weeks before you receive the final images and the DVD Presentation Box.
Under what license you release your pictures?
All of the images are Royalty free for personal use only. You are allowed to print them for your own personal albums and/or coffee books. You can use the web-optimised images to upload on your social media profiles. The copyright to the images is held by us.
Do you travel for weddings outside of Northamptonshire?
Yes. We undertake wedding photography commissions anywhere within the UK.
Do I have to pay for travel expenses?
Each of our wedding photography packages has a travel allowance built in it. Any travel in excess of the distance provided by the package is charged for at a standard rate to cover the cost of fuel or alternate transport, as necessary. Please contact us for details of the travel allowances.
What happens if you can’t do our wedding?
In the event that our principal photographer, Mark Alexander, cannot undertake the commission due to illness or other emergency, we undertake to provide a photographer of similar style and experience.
Do we get a second photographer?
Normally Mark will complete the photographing of your big day without the need for any assistance. Rarely, due to the distances involved or other logistics issues, we may recommend that a second photographer is needed. We will advise you if we feel that this necessary, and also indicate any additional costs which might result. Similarly, you may request this and we will arrange it for you.
